Who we are
Holiday Home Swapping (holidayhomeswapping.co.uk) is an introductions service for owners of static caravans and lodges on holiday parks in the UK, Ireland & Europe. You can contact us at info@holidayhomeswapping.co.uk.
What we are — and what we're not
Holiday Home Swapping is a listings and messaging service only. We are not a booking agency, letting agent or travel operator. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, any swap, private let or other arrangement agreed between members. All arrangements are made directly between the owners concerned, at their own discretion and risk.
We do not take payments or bookings, we do not hold deposits, and we do not vet properties. Members are responsible for checking the accuracy of listings, the identity of the people they deal with, and the suitability and availability of any holiday home before agreeing anything.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that every owner holds insurance appropriate to their holiday home, including cover for guests and exchanges, and checks with their holiday park that swapping or private letting is permitted under their pitch agreement.
Your listing and conduct
By creating a listing you confirm that you own (or are authorised to list) the holiday home, that the details and photos are accurate and yours to use, and that you will keep them up to date. Messages between members must be civil and relevant to arranging swaps or lets. We may edit, hide or remove listings, and suspend or close accounts, where content is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or abusive, or where the service is misused (including spam or commercial advertising without our agreement).
Membership and charges
Membership is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce charges for some or all services in future; existing members would be told in advance and would be free to close their account before any charge applied.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from arrangements between members, from inaccurate listing information, or from interruption or unavailability of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be on this page.
