About Devon Cliffs

Devon Cliffs is one of the biggest parks in the Haven family, set above Sandy Bay a couple of miles east of Exmouth in East Devon. The park is very hilly, with the main complex tucked into a gully and the caravans and lodges climbing the slopes around it. From the higher ground there are wide views out over the red cliffs and the sea.

The park has its own beach. Haven says Sandy Bay is reached down a steep slope and describes it as an award-winning beach with coves and cliffs. Exmouth station, about three miles away, has regular trains to Exeter St Davids. Because of the hills, Haven notes the park isn't ideal for anyone with walking difficulties who doesn't have transport.

What's on the park

  • Pools: a heated indoor pool with multi-lane slides and flumes. Haven says the outdoor pool is closed for the rest of 2026, with 2027 opening to be confirmed.
  • Entertainment: evening shows and live music in Capone's, daytime activities in Bugsy's, and an arcade with a walk-in prize shop.
  • Things to do: tube slides, an aerial adventure course, climbing wall, archery, Segways, crazy golf, 4x4 off-roaders, a nature trail, three outdoor play areas and indoor soft play.
  • Food and shopping: The Red Rocks (a J D Wetherspoon pub), the South Beach Café with sea views, a Beach Bar, a Sports Bar, Cook's Fish & Chips, Chopstix, Burger King and Bertie's Ice Cream.
  • For owners: Haven lists an owners' lounge, an owners' spa with sauna and steam room, quieter owners-only pools, an owners' gym, owner day trips, a wine club and a welcome-back party each season.

Around Exmouth and East Devon

Exmouth's long sandy seafront is close by and popular for watersports, and the Exe Estuary Trail runs from the town along the water towards Exeter. The South West Coast Path passes the park, heading east over the cliffs to the pebble beach at Budleigh Salterton. Exeter, with its cathedral and quayside, is around half an hour away, and the National Trust's A La Ronde sits just outside Exmouth.

Swapping and letting at Devon Cliffs

If you own a caravan here, you already have what makes a swap work: a holiday home on a park other owners want to visit. List it for free and you can swap weeks with owners elsewhere in the UK, Ireland and Europe, and pay nothing for the holiday. If a swap doesn't line up, you can offer a private let and keep 100% of the rent. Just check your licence agreement and the park's current rules on subletting first.

If you're looking for a stay, message the owner of any home above. You're dealing with a fellow owner who looks after their caravan, not a stranger, and there's no booking fee.

Haven's owner site fees run from 1 March, and the season usually lasts until around the end of October — check current dates with the owner or the park.
