About Kiln Park

Kiln Park is a Haven holiday park on the western edge of Tenby, on the road out towards Penally in Pembrokeshire. Haven describes it as a big site of around 220 acres, mostly flat, with two areas of caravans and lodges up on the higher ground. The park takes its name from the old stone lime kilns that still stand on site.

Haven says the park sits next to a Blue Flag beach that you can reach on foot in a few minutes, so a day on the sand doesn't need the car. Tenby's walled town centre is a short trip away, and Tenby railway station, on the line between Swansea and Pembroke Dock, is about a mile from the park.

What's on the park

  • Pools: a heated indoor pool with a water slide. There is also an outdoor pool, but Haven says it is closed for the rest of 2026 with 2027 dates still to be confirmed.
  • Entertainment: the Marina Bar and Stage for evening shows, including the Tiger Club Show, plus the FunWorks amusements arcade.
  • Things to do: Haven lists more than 30 activities, among them a climbing wall, bungee trampoline, archery, kart hire, crazy golf, a tennis court and the NERF Training Camp, with kids' clubs for the younger ones.
  • Food and shopping: the Harbwr Lights restaurant, Burger King, Cook's Fish & Chips, a Costa Coffee cart, Millie's Cookies, Bertie's Ice Cream and an on-park supermarket.

Around Tenby and South Pembrokeshire

Tenby itself has the medieval town walls, the harbour and several sandy beaches, and boats run from the harbour across to Caldey Island in the season. Saundersfoot is just along the coast, and Manorbier Castle is a short drive west. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park surrounds the area, so there are cliff-top walks in both directions.

Swapping and letting at Kiln Park

If you own a caravan here, you already have what makes a swap work: a holiday home on a park other owners want to visit. List it for free and you can swap weeks with owners elsewhere in the UK, Ireland and Europe, and pay nothing for the holiday. If a swap doesn't line up, you can offer a private let and keep 100% of the rent. Just check your licence agreement and the park's current rules on subletting first.

If you're looking for a stay, message the owner of any home above. You're dealing with a fellow owner who looks after their caravan, not a stranger, and there's no booking fee.

Alan Rogers lists Kiln Park as open from March to October; check current dates with the owner or the park before you book.

Questions about Kiln Park

Can I swap my caravan at Kiln Park for a holiday somewhere else?

Yes. List your Kiln Park caravan or lodge for free, then message other owners across the UK, Ireland and Europe to arrange a swap. You agree the dates and details directly with each other.

Can I find a private let at Kiln Park from an owner?

Some owners at Kiln Park offer private lets as well as swaps. Message the owner directly to ask about dates and price. We don't take any commission.

Is Kiln Park close to the beach?

Yes. Haven says the park is next to a Blue Flag beach, reached by a short walk, so you can leave the car behind. Tenby's other beaches are only a little further on.

Are dogs allowed at Kiln Park?

Haven says dogs are welcome, and mentions a dog-friendly beach, a dog-friendly restaurant terrace and nearby walking areas. Some local beaches have seasonal dog restrictions, so it is worth checking before you go. Owners set their own rules for their own caravan, so ask the owner when you arrange a swap or let.
